If you weren’t over the track for the coaching session last Sunday you missed a good opportunity to improve your style, speed and legality. The few ladies that attended all went away feeling very pleased with the progress they had made in such a short space of time.

It was an ideal day, no rain or wind with a bright sun and dry track. Rachel led the session imparting the knowledge & technique she has accumulated over the years racing at International level with Colin & Eric assisting with correction of individuals’ faults. The club is very fortunate to have such willing and experienced members in our ranks.

Those that did attend, I think were delighted the numbers were few because they got individual attention and it showed by the end, as they were all looking so much better and going so much faster. They also got tips on how to train to improve their style & speed.

We even had an ex member Kim Fougere back in NZ for a brief holiday from Asia attending. Kim is keeping up with her walking and I understand she will be doing the Singapore half marathon later in the year with another ex member Sandra Poh.

Many thanks go to Rachel, Colin & Eric for giving up their time to help others improve, well done.
