New Zealand 10km Road Champs 2008
Some really good results from the NZ 10km Road Champs at the weekend. Taranaki took 3 golds and 2 silvers. Glenn was very close to Sargy in a very smart time. Rachel did a very quick time, nearly breaking 55 minutes. Marlene’s was the walk of the day, she was first in her Age group, 1st Master woman, set a Championship age group record, did a PB at 5K and at 10K! Well done. Marlene would also like to pass on her thanks to all the club members that were there to give her wonderful support and encouragement to achieve this.
Katie and Dave also took golds in their age groups – well done.

Rachel Gilberd – 2nd Senior Women – 55’01
Marlene White – 1st W60, in fact 1st Master Woman – very slick time of 64’25
Katie Tahere – 1st W35 – 67’44
Dave Barrett – 1st M60 – 69’15
